The back-to-school rendez-vous in an incomparable setting!
From August 14 to 16, 2026, the third edition of the Valais Triathlon Festival will take place in the magical setting of the Domaine des Îles de Sion!
A weekend of sports and festivities, where families, friends, beginners, and enthusiasts alike can discover or rediscover triathlon in a unique and accessible atmosphere.
Participants will dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Domaine des Îles, enjoy a varied and smooth bike course through the heart of Valais, before hitting the banks of the Rhône for a run surrounded by magnificent scenery.
This year, the VTF becomes the only triathlon in Switzerland to offer all formats, from Kids to Full. There's something for everyone: swimming, cycling, and running, as well as paddleboarding across the lake, entertainment, and concerts by the water...
One motto: push yourself while having fun!

8 to 9 years | 50m / 2km /900m
10 to 11 years | 100 m / 2 km / 900 m
12 to 13 years | 200 m / 4 km / 1.6 km

More than 2,650 participants lined up at the starting line for this third edition of the Valais Triathlon Festival, braving the heat.
A weekend marked by a major first—the Full Distance race—hundreds of challenges conquered, new discoveries of the sport, music, smiles, and a unique atmosphere blending sports and fun. ✨

Today, the Valais Triathlon Festival wrote a new chapter in its history with the very first edition of the Full Distance. 💙
