Traffic Measures
The following roads will be temporarily closed to traffic, made one-way, or subject to speed limits, according to the schedule details below:
Friday, August 14, 2026: Children's Races
Sion: Route des Iles, Chemin du Grand-Lac, and Chemin des Gardes-de-Nuit will be closed from 3:30 p.m. to7:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 15, 2026: Full, Half, and Discovery Races
Sion
• Chemin du Grand-Lac + Chemin des Gardes-de-Nuit – Closed from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
• Rue de la Traversière (bridge) – One-way traffic North → South from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (recommended detour: Rhône Bridge to the north)
• Rte de Riddes (between Pont de Traversière and Pont d’Aproz) – One-way traffic from Sion to Aproz from 7: 30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., then from 7: 00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Rte d’Aproz – section behind Revaz Construction Métallique – Closed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m .
• Rte d’Aproz – Speed limit of 60 km/h from 7:00 a.m. until Sunday at 4:00 p.m .
Saillon
• Anzé Road + Salentze Road (up to Saint-Laurent Road) – One-way traffic from Saillon to Leytron from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Ardon and Chamoson
• Wine Route (except for the Car Postal) – One-way traffic from Chamoson to Ardon from 9: 00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Conthey
• Chemin des Eterpys – Closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Nendaz and Riddes
• Rte de Riddes et Bieudron – One-way traffic, toward Riddes, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Fully and Dorénaz
• Rte de Dorénaz – One-way traffic, Dorénaz → Fully direction, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Vétroz
• Rte de la Ferme – Closed with a zipper to allow access to the course from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 16, 2026: Olympic and Short Races
Sion
• Rue de la Traversière (bridge) – One-way traffic north to south from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (recommended detour: Pont du Rhône to the north)
• Rte de Riddes (between Pont de Traversière and Pont d’Aproz) – One-way traffic from Sion to Aproz from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Rte d’Aproz – section behind Revaz Construction Métallique – Closed from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Rte d’Aproz – Speed limit of 60 km/h from Saturday at 7:00 a.m. to Sunday at 4: 00 p.m .

• Rte d’Anzé + Rte de la Salentze (up to Rte Saint-Laurent) – One-way traffic from Saillon to Leytron from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Ardon and Chamoson

• Between the Branson Bridge in West Fully and the Saxon Viaduct (Saillon area), from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, August 16, 2026:
• Between Ardon and the Route du Rhône junction in Vétroz, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
